position includes everyday office tasks, tax collection and calculation, all
aspects of issuing vehicle registrations and titles, and issuance of driver’s
licenses. High School Diploma or GED equivalent, computer skills, and ability

The Ottawa County Highway Department is accepting applications for Equipment Operators. Applicants must be physically able to operate various types of equipment used in the normal operation of the County Highway Dept., and must be physically able to perform any other duties associated with the normal operation of the department. Applicants must be the holder of a Commercial Driver’s License or able to obtain one. This is a 40-hour week position, summer hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday; Winter hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
